MY TUSSGLOBAL STORY
My name is Lilian Elenwoke and I’m the Cheif Executive Officer (CEO) of Tuss global.
Taking Up Spaces Global (TUSSGlobal) was born out of my unwavering faith and personal journey through marriage, career uncertainty, financial rebuilding, infertility, and the life-changing experience of motherhood. After eight years of waiting and a few failed IVF attempts, I welcomed my miracle baby at just 28 weeks. My pregnancy was complicated by gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, and eclampsia. I nearly lost my life and developed fluid in my lungs, requiring a stay in the ICU, while my baby was fighting for his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
For almost three months, I traveled 50 miles from Mercer County, NJ, to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to be with my miracle baby, who spent 74 days in the NICU and graduated on May 21st, just days after my MBA graduation on May 17th. Those moments were filled with uncertainty, hope, and transformation. Through it all, my faith, support system, and community were my anchor.
Inspired by my journey of healing and the power of genuine connection, I founded TUSSGlobal as a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating safe spaces for women navigating silent struggles—balancing work, faith, ambition, and identity. Our community supports each woman to build accountability, find sisterhood, and receive the encouragement needed to heal, grow, and show up as their best selves. Every journey matters, and every woman belongs.
